2022, Acrylic and Collage on Canvas
Inspired by Wassily Kandinsky’s innovative interpretation of music in forms of visual art, I am keen on expressing my passion for physics with painting. The Expressionism style, composed of lines, dots, and color blocks, perfectly fits this branch of natural science: both possess unique abstractions and structures. I paint different fields of physics with their iconic symbols, each interconnecting with the others as an indication of close relations amongst diverse physics domains. A limited color palette serves as a visual demonstration of the world of physics: how everything we have now derives from primary principles. The compilation of texture with fabric on the canvas’s rightmost side, on the other hand, shows the subject’s unpredictable future awaiting exploration.
