This logo was designed for the logo competition held by Grit Education, an educational institution affiliated with the same education group as my high school, and it was ultimately selected as Grit Education’s official logo. Responding to their request for a vintage British-school-styled logo, I constructed a classic shield as its main body, with wings symmetrically emerging from its sides. The shield symbolizes Grit’s role of escorting students on their education journey, while the pair of wings unfolding from leaf-shaped to stretched feathers represents students’ growth. The tree within the shield is Grit’s mascot, and the other four icons stand for the courses it offers, from academics to arts. The logo consists of two main colors: green, which symbolizes health and vitality, and orange, which depicts students' passion and curiosity in learning.
